Chili Cheese Dip

2 6oz. cans diced green chiles
1 8oz. can tomato sauce
1 15oz. can chili without beans
1 lb. mexican style velveeta cheese
1 lb. sausage Jimmy Dean or seasoned as desired
jalapenoes if desired.


Brown sausage in skillet with onions to taste. I usually add some cumin and chili powder also to taste.
Drain sausage. Mix all ingredients together in a crock pot. Cook on low for several hours. It can be cooked on high but watch carefully as the cheese will burn.
